We use Eventbrite to manage registrations for our events and provide a more seamless experience. We use Memberful and Stripe to Manage Membership purchases Our email service provider is currently Mailchimp. We use Mailchimp to distribute marketing content and information (principally via our newsletter) and securely store email lists for relevant marketing campaigns. We are governed by Mailchimp Data Processing Agreement

IHALC operates a membership model. In order to keep members informed of their benefits, communicate with members regarding renewals, payments and operational changes, and inform members of any important information regarding their membership, it is necessary for IHALC to collect contact information

Our function is to provide events, content and digital experiences where the world’s top in-house agency leaders can come together to learn, explore trends, discover innovations, build relationships, boost knowledge, enhance career prospects and do business. We can reasonably expect that practitioners in the in-house marketing, advertising, design, operations and other related industries may have a genuine interest in the speakers, networking, workshops, round tables, briefings and business development opportunities we provide. We will process your information under legitimate interest to provide industry practitioners with the up-to-date event information, relevant opportunities, offers and reports. We consider this to be legitimate interest.
You may opt out of our communications at any time and we will delete your data permanently if you do not wish to hear from us. You can do this by contacting patrick.burgoyne@ihalc.com.

How long we keep information: We will only keep your information for as long as it is necessary in order to fulfil the service for which it was collected eg if you have registered for our newsletter, your details will be kept for as long as the newsletter is published, unless you unsubscribe
Who we share information with
When you register for an IHALC event or download gated content (eg a survey or white paper), we reserve the right to share your data with sponsors who may then contact you directly via email, phone, or any other channel. It is in our and our sponsors’ legitimate business interests to share this data with the sponsor: it allows us to attract the most appropriate sponsor for the content and to facilitate business-to-business communication between our sponsor and you. We will be clear about when this occurs. If you do not wish your data to be shared with our sponsors, and/or you wish to be removed from our database at any time, please email patrick.burgoyne@ihalc.com
